Here is a genuine chance for all members to have a say in what we race at Race Connect. Lee has created a Blog here. With the current calendar, and you can leave your ideas there. After all Race Connect is a community as well as the place to race.
RaceConnect would like to announce the GTR2 Challenge, after the succesful GT Super Series Cup. Of course with the immenent arrival of GTR Evolution the focus has been wrestled from GTR2.
Sunday 24th of August, will see the 3rd event of the 'Grand Slam' series.
This event will also double as a further test for the upcoming 'Historic GT Cup' which will commence in September. The event will be using cars from the TC-65 season.
All are welcome to join this event. If you've not tried the HistorX yet, then I recommend you get it installed. If you are planning to join the Historic GT cup in September, then this event is an ideal time to get some practice in. You can get the Mod Here, and the track here
To register for the event on Sunday, just click the link for the event under the 'NEXT EVENTS' on the right of the page. Then click 'register'. The password for the event will then be made avaialble on Sunday evening, 1 hour prior to commencement of practice.

The dates and tracks are now confirmed for the forthcoming Scuderia Twente Endurance Series Season. The first event of the season, in under a months time is on Monday September 1st at Watkins Glen, This round is a 2.5
hour race with changeable weather.
The tracks are challenging and many are new for STES.
Off course the famous Nordschleife, Spa and Le Mans 3 hour events are still a part of the season calendar!
There are currently 21 drivers registered, and registration will remain open for new

Starting 7th September ‘08 2 new championships based on the rfactor HistorX mod
‘Race-Connect HistorX GT Cup 2008b’ & ‘Race-Connect HistorX TC Cup 2008b’
Using the HistorX mod which has received very positive reviews from the on-line racing community, these events will run fortnightly on Sundays.
Have a look at the video (the Lemans/Grand Prix film multiscreen start sequence effect had me won over to start with), and by the end, you should be wanting to get racing.
Look out for 'Grand Slam' Events being held on Sundays throughout August, if you want to get some practice in, prior to the commencement of the season.
